Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs Make sure they're finely crushed.
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter Melted for easier mixing.
  • 24 oz cream cheese Make sure it's at room temperature for smooth blending.
  • 1 cup sugar Regular granulated sugar.
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract Pure vanilla for the best flavor.
  • 3 large eggs Use fresh eggs for optimal results.
  • 3 medium ripe bananas Mash them well for a smooth texture.
  • 1.5 cups whipped topping For a light and fluffy finish.
  • 1 cup banana slices For topping the cheesecake.

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • To start, preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). In a mixing bowl, combine your graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and stir until well mixed. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form a solid crust.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add in the sugar. Mix until combined and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
  • Next, incorporate the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition. Finally, add in the mashed bananas and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly.
  • Once baked, let the cheesecake cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight. When ready to serve, top with whipped topping and banana slices for a beautiful presentation.
