Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cup fresh blueberries Wash and remove stems
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix This is the base for the cobbler
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1 cup milk Whole or 2% works best
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter Melted for the batter
  • 2 tsp baking powder To help the cobbler rise
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For added flavor

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, sugar, baking powder, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined. The mixture should be smooth and a little thick.
  • In a greased baking dish, pour the batter evenly. Then, gently sprinkle the blueberries over the top of the batter. Don’t worry if some sink into the batter; that’s perfectly fine!
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
  • Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving, and consider topping it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra special treat!

Notes

This cobbler is best enjoyed warm. Feel free to swap blueberries with other fruits like peaches or cherries!
