Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out half of the pie crust and place it in a pie dish, ensuring it covers the sides well.
In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and bourbon. Mix until coated.
Pour the apple mixture into the prepared pie crust and dot with butter pieces on top.
Cover with the top pie crust, seal the edges by crimping, and cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 to 50 minutes until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
Let the pie cool for a bit before serving to allow the filling to set. Enjoy it warm or at room temperature!
