  • 1 package pie crusts Store-bought or homemade

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out half of the pie crust and place it in a pie dish, ensuring it covers the sides well.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and bourbon. Mix until coated.
  • Pour the apple mixture into the prepared pie crust and dot with butter pieces on top.
  • Cover with the top pie crust, seal the edges by crimping, and cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 to 50 minutes until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
  • Let the pie cool for a bit before serving to allow the filling to set. Enjoy it warm or at room temperature!
