Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 3 cup sliced peaches
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust based on the sweetness of fruit
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup oats Old-fashioned oats work best
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon Optional, for added warmth

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, toss the raspberries and peaches with half of the sugar and set aside to let the juices mingle.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, remaining sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla, mixing until crumbly.
  • Spread the berry-peach mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the crumbly topping evenly across the fruits.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving warm, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful treat!

Notes

This cobbler is best served fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days.
