Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan to make sure your bread comes out easily later.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, apple cider, and vanilla extract until you have a smooth mixture.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just incorporated. Avoid overmixing to keep the bread tender.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

This bread is best enjoyed fresh!
