These cinnamon rolls bring the delightful Cinnabon experience right to your kitchen with their soft, fluffy texture and delicious cream cheese frosting.
Start by warming the milk and mixing it with the yeast and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, warm yeast mixture, and egg. Mix well, then gradually add in the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic, then place it in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour or until doubled in size.
Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll it tightly and slice into rolls.
Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise again for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. While baking, whip together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk for the frosting.
Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling with the cream cheese frosting. Enjoy warm!
