  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix! Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, prepare the crumb topping by mixing together brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the batter in the pan.
