Preparation Steps

  • Start by melting the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Once melted, stir in the mini marshmallows, whisking until they are fully melted and smooth. This creates your gooey marshmallow mixture!
  • Remove the pan from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, mixing carefully until all the cereal is coated in the sweet marshmallow mix.
  • Drizzle the salted caramel sauce into the mixture and fold it gently for an even distribution of flavor throughout. Yum!
  • Prepare a 9x13 inch pan lined with parchment paper, then transfer the mixture into the pan. Press it down firmly to create an even layer. You can use a spatula or your hands; just be sure to grease them lightly to avoid sticking!
