Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat and add it to the slow cooker.
In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it and add it to the slow cooker along with the chopped onion and minced garlic.
Pour in the beef broth and add the diced potatoes. Stir everything together well.
Season with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and black pepper. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
